Marian Consecration program

July 23 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Edward Fantauzzo, a diocese seminarian, extends an invitation to a self-guided retreat
that the parishes of Mother of Sorrows and Holy Cross will be hosting beginning on
Sunday, July 13th. The Marian Consecration program will last for 5 weeks (33 days)
ending on the Solemnity of the Assumption. This retreat will guide us through
reflections on the Blessed Mother by St. Louis de Montfort, St. Thérèse, St. John Paul II,
and St. Maximilian Kolbe. The purpose of these reflections is to bring us closer to Christ
through the great intercessor, His mother Mary.

The book used for this retreat will be “33 Days to Morning Glory” by Michael Gaitley. It
can be found on Amazon for roughly $10 and is an excellent guide for anyone seeking to
participate in the consecration.

Those who wish to participate may attend the weekly meetings to discuss the readings
further and pose questions to the other retreat members. These meetings will be held
at the Holy Cross parish hall on Wednesdays at 4 pm. The adoration at Holy Cross will
allow retreat members to pray and ponder the readings in the presence of our
Eucharistic Lord before or after the meeting times.
